The Fullback Thermal Support System is manufactured with Perform Guard® using a patented process that incorporates the EPA-registered additive into the insulation. Perform Guard utilizes boron, a naturally occurring inorganic mineral, to deter carpenter ants and termites, yet it is safe for humans and pets. Perform Guard also contains a flame retardant. Fullback also eliminates the cozy space behind the siding where insects might otherwise congregate.

Fullback eliminates the "rattling" sound typical of some siding products and also provides a barrier to outside noise. Homeowners report that the use of Fullback greatly reduces noise.
